Attorney Michael A. Ogline Selected "The Best Lawyers in America® 2010
(September 2009) Alliance Attorney Michael A. Ogline was recently selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2010 in the field of Trusts and Estates (Copyright 2009 by Woodward/White, Inc., of Aiken, S.C.).
Since its inception in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Because Best Lawyers is based on an exhaustive peer-review survey in which more than 32,000 leading attorneys cast almost two million votes on the legal abilities of other lawyers in their specialties, and because lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed, inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.
It is important to note that the lawyers listed in Best Lawyers have no say in deciding which specialties they are included in. They are voted into specialties entirely as a result of the votes they receive from their peers. The subspecialties listed after their names are based on information from a variety of sources. Attorney Ogline is certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a specialist in the area of Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law.
Michael Ogline named Alliances Citizens of the Year.
(August, 2009) Michael A. Ogline, a partner in the law firm of Geiger, Teeple, Smith & Hahn has been chosen Alliances Citizen of the Year by Alliance Mayor Toni Middleton. The announcement was made at the Alliance Area Carnation Festival Community Breakfast held on August 8 at the Mt. Union College Hoover-Price Campus Center. 2009 marks the 50th year of the Carnation Festival in Alliance.
Mayor Middleton cited Oglines many years of service to the community, both in local government and in various charitable organizations. He encourages and supports others by example, in that good citizenship has an obligation of community involvement to help improve the place a person calls home.
